Thanks. The rescues that I managed to get a response back from (3 out of 50... not bad) warned me that cats over the age of 5 is very, very difficult to rehome. Most people prefer the kittens. All 3 of these rescues focus only on fostering kittens - that's how high the demand is and how adult cats are left behind. It's not that they don't want to help the older ones - there is too little of the demand and costly to keep one adult cat for months or years versus a kitten that gets adopted quickly. So to get her a home this fast, I'm glad that there are still some adult kitty fans out there
