One of my cats has a Cold, sneezing, warm ears, warm nose, but eats and drinks water fine. I have 4 other cats and am trying to not have to deal with others getting cold. I don't have money for vet right now. (Unfortunately), a breeder I know said try allergy tablets, cut in half also bought some L-Lysine 500mg, have not given that yet. Any suggestions please, I have had cats for years so am familiar with all meds.

Call your local humane society and ask if they have a no-cost or low-cost clinic. If not, ask them for advice. They will have a veterinarian on staff who can answer that question. I would never give my pets any human meds unless cleared by a vet.
