Humans Playing With Cat Toys (house, kitty, room, orange)

So, you enter my house and it is obvious that cats live here. There are all sorts of cat toys in the living room. Every time the grandkids come over, they usually pick up a cat toy or two and start to play with them. We have a cat cube:




(Ours is orange.)

Last Christmas, two of the kids were wearing it. (The cats are not interested it in at all.)

We also have one of these:




Not only do the kids play with this, so do the adults. Actually, I find myself playing with it. lol. I also have a couple of those rings with a ball inside. Again, the kids love it, and sometimes I find myself playing with it with my feet. And then there are all the balls around the house. The kids seem to find them.


Sometimes it seems like humans play with the cat toys more than the cats do. Does anyone else have similar experiences?

Santa once brought my cats a small stuffed animal for Christmas that I thought was really adorable. I can't even remember what type of animal it was now, but I loved it. Weeks passed by and I never saw anyone touch it so I decided to take it for myself and put it on a shelf. You can guess what happened after that. The toy disappeared off of the shelf, having suddenly become more appealing. Not only that, but the thief hid or lost it, presumably in the black hole of the basement. I was so disappointed!
