Which flea & tick prevention? (fleas, house, cheap, kitty)

I've been working my way through my Frontline Plus stash for a couple of years and I'm down to my last dose. 10 pound 3-year-old cat who has a cat door. Without treatment, I have both fleas and ticks.
I've been using the 1800petmeds site for many years and have the usual discount spam emails that knock the price down further. I'll Google it and cross shop Amazon but I haven't found a lower price in the past. Is this still the cheapest source?
I used Frontline Plus for several years, but switched to Revolution 3 years ago. The Frontline just stopped being effective, and I had to de-flea my house twice (not fun). Not saying Frontline is no good, just that it wasn't working in my case.
I'm currently getting my Revolution from Joe's Pet Meds (joespetmeds.com), and a 3-pack is under $40.00 with shipping. It comes from Australia (and sometimes it's the UK boxing brand Stronghold) but is the genuine product. That site also carries the other major brands as well. Takes about 2 to 2-1/2 weeks to get it. I've also ordered from CanadaVet before, and they have about the same pricing and delivery times as Joe's.
You might consider switching to Revolution, as it protects against more than just fleas and ticks, and it works good for my girls.

All I know about flea treatment is that back when my girls went out I used Advantage because it was all my vet would carry. That was about 4 years ago.
