I just wanted to share with everyone the wonderful news I received today, that my little cat Pumice was found! He went missing August 10th. We're used to him running off like this for a few days, but after 10 days and he still hadn't showed up, we put out a missing notice on Home Again. I got a call today from Emmitsburg Animal Hospital that someone brought him in looking to fix him so that he could be their pet. One of the girls there noticed the missing pet poster of him and scanned for the chip. That's how he was found! I'm so thankful to God for this.
I would definitely recommend everyone who has cats, especially outdoor cats, to get that chip put in. Without it, we never would have heard from him again.
YAY!!! I'm sure you must sleep better at night!! Very happy that Pumice is back where he belongs!
(might want to get his little wandering ways fixed yourself!)
Have you learned anything about letting small animals run lose in this world?
Cats are happy outside if it's a safe environment (no traffic). We always try to bring our cat in at night.
All pets should be spay/neutered. Bravo on the microchip!!
