Grooming gloves (hair, paws, kitty, cleaning)

I'm always in search of a good grooming product that all of my cats will like.

So, I wanted to put this out there. I have four cats, all short hair, and, they shed as expected. I have multiple brushes and even a Furminator. They all have their pros and cons, but not one single product was a one-stop-shop type of groomer. One of my favorite items is a mitt with rubber nubs on the palm side, this thing works really well but doesn't fit my hand - at all.

So perusing on amazon I came across a pair of grooming gloves and decided to give them a try. They are awesome!!!! They come in different sizes and have these wonderful rubbery nubs on the palm and longer ones on the finger pads. I have even been able to brush Monkey (for short periods) before he decides he wants to bite. This was not an option before, he's not a touchy feely kind of cat.

Just in case anyone has been looking for grooming options. They seem the be the most expensive of the glove type groomers, but because they had the most reviews I decided to give them a try.

OP, you are so right, those grooming gloves are great! I've used them for years -- ALL of my kitties love being groomed with them! In fact when they see me grooming one of their siblings, they come and hang out with us hoping to get a turn.

The one you linked to is WAY more expensive than the ones I've bought, though -- I think mine have been in the $5-10 range. Actually, just checked and the one I bought most recently was <$5: https://www.amazon.com/Four-Paws-Mag.../dp/B002USK6X6 . My kitties love it!

The one you linked is the exact one that I have that doesn't fit me. It rolls around my hand when I try to use it. Maybe I have baby hands. That's why I bought the ones I linked, plus it's a pair of gloves so I can use both at the same time.
When I'm grooming Momo, Rusty comes bumping my elbow so I don't forget him

I think I'm going to do a spring cleaning of my kitty product inventory.

I'm super pleased.

Had to laugh at the idea of grooming 2 kitties at once! I have to try that!

I always used the Love Glove on my turkish angora and she was great with it.
