I've been following Hope for Paws for quite a while. Eldad Hagar rescues homeless dogs in L.A. area, and posts videos online to solicit donations. Once in a while he steps in and rescues kittens too. This is a recent one and I thought it was worth posting here.
I've seen some of his dog rescues but never any cat one's! It still amazes me (and saddens me) that there are thousands more out there like this :-( But each rescue (and spaying/neutering) is a step in the right direction! Thanks for sharing :-)
What a fantastic organization! I just made a donation and will follow them. Both videos are very touching, especially so because the mama cats were rescued, too (and spayed of course).
We need as many heartwarming stories as possible amid all the pummeling sad news in the media. Sure brightens the day to know there are angels among us.
This one is a bit OT, so hope the mods allow it. It's a very special Hope for Paws rescue that I want to share as well. Some of you may have already seen this, but for those that haven't, it's a bit hard to watch at first but ends well and is worth seeing. I apologize for any tears it may cause.
I don't know if it was Hope for Paws but I saw one where 9 puppies were rescued from a cave.
I'm a sucker for those recuse videos and watch them all the time. The funny thing is, usually my husband is standing behind me watching them, too.
Cat
Yes, it was Hope for Paws. A fairly recent rescue, actually.
I would post a link, but I think I've already pushed my luck with dog stuff in this cat forum.
