My heart goes out to you OP. You're aware that you did the right thing for Paws, and hopefully that makes it a little easier to deal with. Peace be with you.

Run free at the Bridge, sweet Paws.

My condolences. It's so hard to lose a beloved pet, like a hole in the heart that won't close. I am a pet sitter in a NW Chicago suburb and one of my company co-founders also passed away from Lymphoma. To memorialize client's cats passing, my business sends donations to Winn Feline Foundation For Cat Diseases. When I personally lose a kitty and am ready to open heart and home to another, this is my mantra: if Kitty X hadn't passed on, I never would have met Kitty Y, and I wouldn't have wanted to miss that for anything.
