I believe all animals feel love. And I think it's the purest form of love since it is unconditional — unlike human love, which is burdened with beliefs about being worthy/unworthy, right/wrong or good/bad.
Haha...mine does the same...if they don't feel my love why do they lie all over me, beg to get under the covers for a snuggle...roll on their backs as soon as they see me, hoping for a warm belly rub...

Seeing as my kitten loves to cuddle up with me on the couch or bed and start licking my nose (I always nuzzle her so I theorize she thinks this is how I show affection), I'd say she's showing love.
