Today!

Didn't know there was such a day, but just saw it on tv news.

So celebrate your felines this evening.

Well I missed it. Must be why my 2 usual kitty friends greeted me at work this morning even though I'd been gone for several days!

And that is as it should be.

Maybe a few extra cats were adopted today to celebrate it.

Here's the supposedly greatest kitty music videos of all time from Yahoo for Interational Cat Day:

Some of them are a little like a bad cat nip trip; really trippy

Yay! I have 2 extra cats in my house today. I foster and will be so happy to have these two sent back to their owner in Miami. They were displaced by the hurricane. Owner lost everything... but will be in the position to take them back this fall!

Plus I have another that the owner a street away from me dumped because she got a new kitten. 16 years old, sweet as can be but still tries to "go home" every day. A hole owners...

I can't believe how George has grown. Seems like just a few weeks ago that you adopted that wee kitten that promptly took you over. He certainly is a beautiful boy now.

Well, in 12 years or so you might have to rescue the current kitty when he's too old for his so-called humans.
