I'm so glad things have changed SO MUCH for homeless pets over the years. Now so many great programs across the country. I remember many years ago when, unbelievably, neutering or spaying was not something routinely done. So there were many euthanasias back then. And animal shelter conditions were not what they are today...

True, you could hardly call them "shelters." The ASPCA was equivalent to Murder, Inc. where I lived. So to see those nappers snuggled together made me happy.
