Well...cats do believe they reign supreme. LOL, and housecats have no contestation of this view. Cats that are indoor/outdoor or barn cats however face opposition in the form of the coyote. The latter cats are lower on the food chain.
It is commonly said, by me, to my friends, that my beloved man is merely my Top, and Nimbus the cat is my Dom. Some few of you will know what that means and get the joke. For the rest, I guess there is Google.
My boyfriend does not argue this point. The cat has him trained, too, though he rebels at it a bit more than I do.
