Default Which airlines allow soft-sided carriers?

I'm moving two cats cross-country. I decided a 6-hr non-stop flight would be less stressful than a 4-day car trip. One of my really freaks out when you put him in the car.

Which airlines allow soft-sided carriers? I'm going to trick my cat into liking it before we leave

You can check on each website. I know that Southwest doesn't even allow pets, so don't check that. I would imagine that if you are carrying them on, you can more than likely have a soft-sided carrier on any airline that accepts pet. That's what I see almost 100% of the time. If you are checking your cat (which I'm assuming you're not), then you have to use a hard carrier.

I actually booked a flight with Frontier, which I think is related to United. They allow the soft-sided carriers, for anybody else who is looking for this info.
