I'm trying hard to think of anything my cat is afraid of, and I'm coming up blank.

I think she's too chill to let much of anything bother her.

My cats are afraid of the vacuum cleaner. They're also frightened of people coming over but the funniest one is blowing snow. If there is a blizzard they are hiding under the bed.

- The motorized pump we use to inflate air mattresses.
- The sight of an air mattress inflating.
- The smell of anything pickled in a jar.
- Obviously the vacuum cleaner.
- Me waving a pillow in the air in his general direction. (I have never hit him with a pillow, nor has anyone else that I know of. But I do this in the morning when he's trying to pester me, and he runs off, because he's a cat and he's weird.)

Some of these things, we use to actually keep him off the table when we are trying to eat cheese.

Oh, and I bought these plastic skeleton piranha fish from a Halloween store last year, and like some people use ocean or seashell themes in the bathroom, since I'm a spooky gothy person, I wanted skeleton fish on the wall in my bathroom, among other things. And before hanging them on the wall, they were sitting on the floor. Nimbus came up and rapidly smacked at one, until it rocked towards him on the surface where it was sitting, and then he spooked and ran away from it. So he is also afraid of plastic skeleton piranhas.

Also the outdoors, he is very afraid of the outdoors. Wants nothing to do with outside. I'm fine with that.
I forgot. He is also afraid of small children. I don't blame them, they are loud and sticky.

My cats are currently afraid of my 10 week old foster kitten. He is trying to make friends, but they won’t approach him. My girl is currently on top of the cat tree watching us on the couch, and he’s meowing at her. She’s not buying it. haha

Nothing that would be called weird really, just the usual.......

-Thunderstorms
-Vacuum cleaner
-Anyone but me walking through the front door
-Sheba spooks easy when I cough, but sneezing doesn't seem to bother her.
-Angel is really too laid-back & lazy to be scared of very much, other than the big 3 mentioned above.

They'll be put to the test this coming Tuesday though. I'll have contractors in my house for 3 days doing a ducted furnace installation, and I know it's going to be stressful for them. I'll be here the whole time of course, but they'll probably be in their bunkers most of the time. I hate it, but can't be helped.
