I know many ladies on here will appreciate, & anyone I know I'll broadcast it to. I think this is THE main reason everyone's on here -- to MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE in a small kitty's day & life!

A suggestion: I've found lots of baby yarn at thrift stores for about $1 per skein. Walmart also sells their brand of Velcro fastener for .97 per package.
An update: I've already made a dozen of these! They are fun to make once I got the hang of it. I emailed the group and they are in most need of the two smallest sizes, (Millie and Mazie).

I crochet and I am going to try your pattern. What a great idea! I have plenty of left over yarn.
Update: I mailed off 16 kitten sweaters last week to the rescue group. What a happy feeling. Since they weigh so little, the shipping didn't cost much.
