Thanks. We love her. I really don't know what kind, but I have thought she looks like a Ragdoll too. She was abandoned, and living wild on top of our house when we moved into it in 2004. She almost died since she wouldn't let anyone close to her, and then one day she came up to my daughter and she picked her up, and we fed her, and that was the end of that. She rules the house now. In fact, she's laying on me right now completely disgusted that all my attention isn't on her. LOL.

Lol. She is a spoiled brat, but since her life was pretty rough before she adopted us I'm happy to spoil her. She's a sweety. Even my husband, who never liked cats, is bowing to her every command. It's funny.

Cat pics!!!-rusty.jpgI found this picture of Rusty taken almost 20 years ago after a hard workout. He was such a great cat and great friend. He had that extra toe on his front paws that he used for picking things up. It was so funny to see him pick up a pencil or pen with one paw and chew on the end of it.

Default My cat.

Here is a picture of my cat. She was a beat-up stray and after a $600+ vet bill I decided to keep her. Her name is Koneko but we call her Murp, because she makes a Murp noise when she wants attention.

More photos are in this article on my blog. Also there is a recent post about an amazing cat bed check it out.

Hi everyone,

This is such a lovely thread, it's really cheered up my Friday afternoon! Thanks for the wonderful pictures everyone. The second cat posted right at the start is the spitting image of my cat - how weird. I don't have any pictures of him to hand unfortunately.

What I do have that you might like to see are some paintings I did of a tiny proportion of the thousands of cats taken in by my local rescue centre at various times in the past. We had an exhibition a few years ago to raise money and printed each cat's personal story under each painting. Here are a few of them:

This is butch - an ancient tom who's lived ferally for about 19 years. He's been fed every day for several years by a devoted volunteer but refused to be trapped and re-homed. Not to be messed with! Sadly he's recently disappeared. He's had a good long life though, and his freedom.

This is lucky - she has an amazing story. She was trapped in a container of razor blades for 6 weeks and survived by licking the condensation off the inside walls. This is painted from a photo taken not long after she was taken in.

Incontinent colin. Cute as anything but requiring patience from the new owner!
