Nimbus doesn't hate his carrier. I keep it under an end table at home and he hides in it for fun sometimes. He doesn't even hate the vet, either. What he does hate is riding in the car. Oh the crying and the drama of vehicular transport...woe is kitty... I'm so glad our vet is like 10 minutes from the house. Any further and I'd find the cat trying to listen to Bauhaus and write bad poetry in the back seat. Such angst.
The only time my cats voluntarily run into their carriers is after the vet has stuck a thermometer up their bum
