I've always wanted a "cat porch," but I guess a house (as opposed to an apartment/rental) is needed first.
Actually, this porch was originally built for use at a rental house I was in. My landlords were fine with it since it didn't do anything to the house itself - it's a free standing 3 sided cube not attached to the house at all. It's held in place (in front of a safely accessible window) just by cement blocks. Then when I bought the house I'm in now I just took it apart and moved it here - did need some guys to put it together again, though - and they placed it right on top of a raspberry patch!
Your kitties are very cute! They will be well used to intereacting with humans so will make great pets. Yay for you guys for taking them in!
