One of my cats absolutely loves rubbing against you as soon as you set a foot out of the shower.
She knows the sound of the shower and if you do not leave the door crack for her to get in she'll scratch and bang against the door until you let her in (she does it to house guests too).
As soon as you step out, she is all over your feet and legs, I have to be careful not to trip over her trying to brush teeth, etc... She'll lay on my feet (my husband too) if I stand still longer than 30 seconds.
I don't get it...I've had cats most of my life and none of my cats have done this.

I stopped trying to understand cats' behaviors--They are just plain weird at times. I love, love, love them though!

I have one of those. She must be in the bathroom for the shower, sitting on the edge of the tub. She likes to watch the shampoo bubbles go down the drain. As soon as I turn the water off she is in the tub licking the water.

Default bathtub

Bubba barely lets me get the shower curtain open before he's in there everytime I shower. Lays on the bottom and licks, and licks. Even has started sitting there later in the evening and hollers for me to dump more water in it for him. of course I do! Of course both my beasts drink out of the sink and remind me if I've forgotten to put enough water in there.

Heaven forbid I try to take a bath, Bubba has his foot in there while its filling and Annabelle will sit on the side splashing too.

Yep mind does that too. What is it about bath water that they can't resist?

My Rufus used to do that. Both my cats, Salem and Rufus used to hang out in the bathroom while I was in the shower, with concerned looks on their face like they thought I was going to drown. THEN once I was out, Rufus would rub on me.

Salem is less concerned now that Rufus has passed away.

Do you have likes and dislikes that no one else in your family, or circle of friends, has? Same thing. Every living being is unique and has his or her own preferences...

I'd guess it has something to do with a shower washing their scent off your legs. So she has to come up and mark you with her facial scent glands to let all the other cats around know you're claimed. That's what we are to them. Giant mobile fenceposts.

I bubble bath so my retarded kitty "nimmy" sits on the edge of the bath tub and we play peek-a-boo with my feet and the bubbles. Every time I stick my foot out of the suds, he looks at it like he has never seen it before in his life.

Oh to be so simple.
