I don't know about you, but whenever I buy catfood (at least weekly) , I always have to smile. It's the same in any store.

The dog people across the aisle just throw any old thing in their shopping carts, usually a huge 40 pound bag of food or several cans of Alpo or something.

BUT, the cat people.
They stand there as if in a jewelry store, reading each small can's ingredients ( hmmmm, liver feast with turkey giblets ??? Will she eat this, I wonder? ) .
I wonder if dear Little Lulu would enjoy this tuna and cheese combo~~??

Meanwhile, the dog people have already checked out and are on their way home.

Now that I think about it, there always seems to be a crowd in the cat food aisle. Normally, whenever I go down an aisle, I bring the parade with me, but now that I think about it, I am one of the members of this parade

I've wondered how a dog manages to eat the stale food at the bottom of a 50lb bag. Our cats are done 3/4 of the way through a 2lb bag. The rest goes to grateful ferals so there is no waste.

I can spend 20 minutes in front of a well stocked Fancy Feast display...hmmm...flaked or grilled or combos....will he turn his nose up at the chicken this week or will he decide he likes it? LOL, this brought a smile to my face this morning! ^..^)))))))~

this is a no brainer.....dogs will eat anything....we all have heard the stories of dogs eating from the litterbox... cats have refined taste. I know. I was picking up canned food this weekend and couldn't find their "favorite" flavors (ok my choice but I have to clean the litter box, so its chicken and turkey for my 2). Not at Wal-mart or Food Lion. OMG!!!!!! they won't eat the gravy type...or should say they drink the gravy and leave the food to waste. Knew I had a couple of cans in the pantry, so today I ran to Bi-Lo and they had tons!!! bought 6 cans of each and will go back this weekend to get more. They are picky and I don't want to waste the food.
