LOL!!! I'm sorry......I had to laugh when reading this.

I posted a similar thread about the same thing. My kitty smells like she's been noshing on chili cheese fries and beer. She's 7 months old and can make our eyes water when she lets loose. Holy cow!

I started giving Miss Emme 1 tablespoon of yogurt each day and it cut the gas leak down dramatically. She still has stinky poo but really, doesn't everyone? We just have the option of a toilet that flushes. Kitties don't. Maybe you could try one of those "Litter Maids."

I started scooping as soon as possible after her visits to the litter box, which helps. If I can't get to it right away for some reason, I scoop when I can and open the window near her box for a few minutes.

LOL LOL LOL Glad you could not help yourself. I enjoyed it. I need to get pictures of the pile up kids. And the aroma was rather ghastly since the kittens have moved to the front porch right by the front door.

They were all in the tree when we got home at lunch. Dogs had chased them. Foot prints in the driveway. GGGRRRR From me!!! Anyway all got down but one and I finally had to get a ladder to get him. He had to come down three feet for me to reach him then I grabbed him by the neck and came down the ladder with him. Hubby laughing asking how many dead cats do we see in trees?? Well ok not many but he was so dang scared. He begged me to come get him. I have a horrible fear of heights myself. I could see it in his eyes.

I do not know what to do about these guys. 11 kitties is too many. How many of you have 11 kitties or more?? They have stollen my heart. All except the physco cat from he!! Do not know why one of them is so nasty when they all had the same care and taming.

Sorry to hijack your thread D Naomi I will stop now.

Chris

No problem, and I'm glad my farting kitten has at least made a few people laugh! He is very silly, goofy little cat!

Turns out my diarrhea kitty (Frank) likes yogurt! It's a good thing that he's the one with the issues, as his brother Ray could not possibly care any less about the stuff. Frank only ate a very tiny amount last night, but I will try getting him to eat more today.

Keeping my fingers crossed. This has been a very educational thread.

Sophie is the same way. She has the worst sbd's and is always letting them go in my face. I feel a little whoosh of air and know it's time to run. She likes to sleep lying against my shoulder but because some assclown docked her tail as a kitten I have no cover lol.

Cats are obligate carnivores. Any cat on a proper diet should not be passing gas.

HappySpring will become famous soon enoughHappySpring will become famous soon enough
I adopted my Milo last Sept and he had such bad farting that if you went near him, he'd fart. If you picked him up, he'd fart. Nickname was squid for while.

As it turned out his poop was tested and it came back positive for coccidia. Since I had an older cat in the house, both of them had to be treated with the oral medicine. This was the worst experience of my life! After being on the 1st medication for the duration, his poop still tested positive. The vet then put them on something else. Still tested positive. Finally after the 3rd round, he was fine. No more farting,

One of the med's they gave me I gave to Milo as soon as I got home, the little thing started foaming at the mouth and running around into walls. I thought I killed him. I called the vet and they said this was a normal reaction for med's they don't like. Those pills went right into the trash and I got something else. Now I can laugh about it. !!

Maybe your kitten still has coccidia. Have him tested again. By the way, while they are on meds, you have to clean the llitter box everytime they go as the coccidia lives in the poop and your kitten can get recontaminated. Once the med's are finished, sterlize the litter box or get a new one.

Milo farts no more thank god.
