Hi all,
What brand of wet/canned food do you feed your cat?

I am a fairly new cat owner. I have been feeding her ‘special kitty’ brand and she seems to love it. I tried to feed her iams canned food and few cans from Friskies also but she doesn’t like them. She will gobble up the special kitty brand and others she will just leave there!

I have been reading online and want to give her healthy food but I am SO confused with so many brands out there!!!

So what do you feed your cat? I also give her Friskies ‘seafood sensation’ dry food and she seems to love that.

Never knew cats were so picky!!!

I used to feed my one cat Artemis canned--seafood or turkey. The company wasn't involved in any recalls when there were problems with cat foods and they are all meats, no fillers. More of what cats genetically are programmed to eat/digest. The cost was good, too.

It is confusing, isn't it?

For every two people who tell you that cats should eat this or shouldn't eat that, you'll meet two (or more) who say their cats lived to be a healthy 18 or older on Little Friskies dry food exclusively.

Our little monsters eat Blue Buffalo dry food (chicken and brown rice), and that's pretty much all they eat. We do give them Fancy Feast wet food; they lick up the gravy, but rarely eat the solid food. Little brats! They hated the Blue Buffalo wet food; even when we mixed it in with the Fancy Feast they wouldn't touch it.

They also like their Temptations treats. They won't eat their dry food without one or two treats tossed on top.

Nah, they're not spoiled ...

They eat Wellness canned foot, it isn't made with grains like a lot of cheaper brands. In a pinch, or when we are out of town, they eat Iams dry food.

Mine like lots of canned varieties...Pinnacle, Evangers, Solid Gold, By Nature Organics, and Newmans Own are their favorites, and they get 1/4 can each a day as a treat, (in addition to home cooked chicken and/or fish.) Their mainstay is Pinnacle Peak Protein formula kibble, which I moisten with herbal tea and add holistic supplements to...nah, mine arent spoiled, either!

Brandon Farms Naturals. It's a Kroger only brand made by the same company that makes By Nature, 95% meat with no grains of any kind and much cheaper than comparable brands like Wellness Core.
