Wow, you just can't fix stupid. I would never flush litter. Biodegradeable or not. Just not worth the problems that could result.

I have 1 cat and use Worlds best cat litter. I only flush #2 in the toilet. I bag #1 for the trash. I am careful to flush it and not over load the toilet. If you do it wisely it will not clog the drain.

For your sake, I hope you're right. I recently got an estimate for main sewer line replacement (tree roots), and it figured out to be around $50 to $75 per running foot. The sewer line I'm responsible for on my property is about 55'. So, after doing the math, I won't be flushing any litter, and I don't care how 'flushable' it claims to be.

Years ago...........around 1986..........there was a rice-based kitty litter available in our local grocery stores. Extremely light-weight...made from rice husks it said. Bounced like a ping pong ball........but it worked for its intended purpose and was flushable. On the package it said guaranteed not to hurt plumbing pipes......but not for septic systems.

I was too afraid to try flushing. Yikes!

Seriously, the convenience is not worth the risk!
