Hi,

I have two cats, one part siamese (6 years old) and the other a black cat (5 years old). I have had them since I rescued them 5 and 6 years ago (found them in an alley). I have always been allergic to them but my allergies have gotten much worse. I am now living off of an inhaler and using it approximately 4x/day. My doctor has advised me of the consequences of using the inhaler so much, so it is with a heavy heart that I have made the decision to try to find them a good home. If I can't find them a home, I will deal with it so please only respond if you are very interested and can give them a loving home.

You might have better luck posting in your city/state forum if you haven't yet. It might also be a good idea to put up pictures at your vet clinic if they will allow it. Heck, put them up at a few clinics. I think that's a good place to start because you know the people who see them at least take their pets to the vet. You can also call the vet and ask for a reference if you get any interested calls. Good Luck! Yours sounds like a tough position to be in. Since you obviously care for your kitties, I'm sure you'll find the perfect home for them and they'll live long, happy lives.

Thank you for the advice and the kind words. We have posted at our local vet offices in and around Redondo Beach but haven't had any luck. We've also contacted no-kill shelters but they either only want kittens or aren't taking in any cats at the moment. I'm still trying!

Have you checked to see if an online Barter or other site would let you post for free??...If you were in New England I would suggest Unc.Henry's online...(For first timers they have a trial subscription)...There has to be an online classifieds site you can access.. I wish you luck.
