No, it's all Maine Coon.

They are not hybrid, and in fact one of America's oldest breed.

Here in New England, you can still find some breeders who have the "old stock" cats that are huge, lean and all muscle and fur.

He is soooo handsome!

I had a Maine Coon named Felix and he had the best temperament, was so intelligent.

I came home from work one day to find the lights on in certain areas of my home. I noticed this phenomena from time to time and I could not figure out how the lights were on when I came home from work after I knew for certain they were turned off when I left.

One Saturday evening, I witnessed Felix leap from the floor close to the wall, and flick the light switch on with his paw. Then dash away as if he'd seen a ghost.

Mystery solved.

I guess he didn't want me coming home to a dark house.

Default deviltry coon style

Cupido is now into going from room to room and pulling the curtains down

and hopping up onto the bed and biting my foot and quickly hopping down

hopefully he will get over this silliness

I love his antics
