In this economy to spend $$$ getting rid of somebody's cats? I say buy rat poison(very cheap), keep your dogs indoors for a day or two, watch what happens to the cats & call it a day!
Last time I checked, it was VERY LEGAL to put poison on your own porch, if you make sure your dogs are safe that is!
That is one seriously sick response. Is your last name Dahmer or Bundy?

Wow. That's sick and heartless.
OP- try the commercial repellents if you can, but if not, call the local humane society and ask for ideas or other alternatives. Someone may have to come and trap the cat, and (if there are no other options) put them down in a HUMANE manner.

I see you just joined the forum. It seems a tad antagonistic to put such a post on a forum topic that caters to cat lovers and where obviously people are trying to find humane ways to solve the problem. If it is your being naive----you could be mistaken for a troll.
I'm happy to report that my problem has been solved....at least temporarily. The suggestion of coyote urine, prompted me to put some of my dogs poop on the ground that the cats leap to. No cats so far!
Thank you for your suggestions.
