Let me know where you find that big piece of land Marylee, I will buy the lot next to you! LOL We can be the Proud Crazy cat ladies.
Thanks again you guys, he knows he is stunning...walking around the house swaying that fluffly little tail, looking up to you making that little chripping noise. He comes running up to me everytime I grab the brush or comb. Vanity...
Will do!
As we get older, we're facing the "empty nest" syndrome in about 5 years. That seems forever to our kids, but just around the corner for us. Our kids are just 1.5 years apart, almost like twins, so its not like I have a second chance at parenting.
My pets have become my babies, my children who will never grow up and go away. Hence I collect cats! But like on another thread of mine, there does come a time when you can no longer care for your animals. We adopted a beautiful Maine Coon from the shelter, an elderly lady had to give him up, its quite sad, she now has remorse and wants him back, we have to tactfully tell her her precious baby is better off with us.
I feel so depressed, thinking what if that was me, and could probably given my penchant for cats, you can't time them to your lifecycle. We recently made out a will, and appointed our son guardian of the cats. We also left him $2500 to care for them, that really isn't much if you consider re homing costs, etc. Some have referred to my son as "St Francis" he's quite loving towards animals. Just a sad thought, that children grow into independent adults, but animals always need someone and we can't always be that someone.
Well, just rambling here....need to get to work, I work from home, can't beat the commute, I usually stop off for coffee

Hope they don't overcharge you for the coffee.
Be careful when getting onto the entrance ramp of the hallway, I hear there's furry delays of 20 to 30 minutes and also the exit ramp to the office, another 20 minutes of furry delays.

Although I wouldn't trade my work-at-home job for anything, given the circumstances,I sometimes wonder if the neighbors think I'm the "crazy cat lady/" I'm home all day by myself except for my cats, and can often be seen wandering the streets at night calling "kitty, kitty".
It does get boring in here at times, but the cats are better company than many people!
Daddy says I'm fat but Mommy says I'm beautiful...
Sidney was napping on the bed and I woke the poor fella up laughing at him, had to take a picture...
A little...Munchkin is still really rude to Sport and corners him/chases him any chance he gets. Sport had a little scratch with blood on his nose on Thursday night. I had to go to a meeting and told the sps to watch them...guess he didnt do such a good job. Munchkin knows when he can get away with stuff....
He's gorgeous. And he sleeps a lot like our Emma. It's a sign of trust when they expose their bellies. He's a very lucky kitty to have found you.
