Yes my cat jumps in bed with me and meows for some petting and loves just when the sun starts to come up. I would scooch over so she can come lay down with us. I don't mind her doing it though. Waking up to her is very nice .

Weasie is pretty much a non-stop chatterbox, but the early-AM ritual is consistent every day. She has an uncanny sense of the clock and the calendar, though. On Saturdays and Sundays she knows her stepfather can sleep in, so she doesn't kick up a fuss the way she does on work days around 6:30 without fail. And during the week, as the hour gets later the talk gets louder and more insistent. Several mornings, when I've drifted back to sleep or put off getting out of bed too long she's even run up and swatted my face or a shoulder! It's exactly like one of us humans trying to shake somebody else awake.
A few years ago this really came in handy. There'd been a power outage in the middle of the night, so the clock on the bedside radio was thrown out of kilter. Awakened by a stream of meows and a series of rights to my right cheek, I was sent bolting by the feel and sight of sunlight pouring in the window. Weasie had rousted me about eight minutes before I needed to leave the house to make it to work on time. You'd best believe she got a can opened for her that night!
