I have had exceptionally smart cats, Beau was incredible.

Jasper...he knows where his food dish is, and the cat box. That is pretty much his level of thinking.

Our one cat, Moe, isn't very smart. He just acts like a normal cat. His brothercat, Des, is smart and always manages to get into things when we aren't looking - he's very curious of course, but somehow I wonder how he gets into things. On Saturday he ended up underneath our recliner, but in order to get under the thing, you have to lift UP the recliner part...he had to have figured that out for a while. All without getting claw marks on it. Silly cats.

I think my cat is average in cat intelligence. Seems clever and is always curious, but she's not working her way through the works of Shakespeare or anything....

*note: this is not my cat. My cat does not wear glasses...or...ummm...read.

He truly is. He has great conformation, all in proportion, and remains slender and active. He's long and lean. is pale blue eyes are commented on by everyone who sees him. He's a little shy around strangers but fine with us.

Here he is the day we adopted him. They weren't sure of his age. They thought he was between 3 1/2 and 4 1/2 months old.

That is an adorable cat, but alas that is just a picture I found on the web. My cat is black, doesn't wear glasses, and doesn't read. ;-D

I have three indoor cats but one of them Sweep can open doors with lever handles, we have had to change some handles for door knobs and we have to ensure the front and side doors are locked at all times.

Things were so difficult at one time with Sweep I considered re-homing him to a Farm or somewhere with lots of land for him to roam free as an outdoor cat but I couldn't give him up, he has learned to accept his life as an indoor cat with access to an outdoor pen.

They are all 3 years old now and very happy.

Our Mojo is smart enough to make his own toy. He takes a old shoelace, picks it up & jumps onto the arm of a chair, and drapes it so that it hangs down. Then he jumps down, swats it until it falls off, then he repeats the process all over again.
