Hi All. I got two 7 wk old babies yesterday to keep me company. One is a light gray striped and the other is a tan striped. They are brother and sister and have pretty greyish green eyes. They both sit on my lap right now.

The little boy is a bit of a whiney baby and is a little smaller than his sister.

She just climbs right up my leg when she wants to sit with me. I look like the cat lady here.

Bad thing: The lady that had them let them get totally infested with fleas. I bathed them in Dawn dish detergent and used a flea comb and that took care of most of the problem.

My little girl had way more than my little boy kitty. Such cuties.

The boy is the tan one and I have named him Max. The girl is the grey and she is Chloe.

This morning when I got up I opened the door to the living area and they came running towards me meowing.... YAY for my kitties!

7 weeks to young to leave mom, breeders don't often let their kittens go until 12 weeks or more.

Secondly they may have Feline luk... if born to a mom allowed outside. Moderator cut: comment

Fleas can be deadly on new kittens take them strait to a vet ASAP! They may be anemic or have worms.

Please keep indoor only, don't de claw( go to www.StopDeclaw.com) and feed them foods listed below if possible.

Instincts

Wellness

ziwi peak

Natures logic

Innova EVO

RAW DIETS

If healthy and they do not have a disease like Feline LUK or FIV they should be ideally getting a raw meat, bones, organs diet pre- made

Feline's Pride

Cats need water with their food so dry feeding isn't a good idea long terms. Dry food can lead to many health issues such as dental disease and obesity.. look up the truth about dry food.

Also cats are quite long lived animals I've known cats over 30... although late twenties is about normal if kept on a suitable diet and indoor only.

Have fun with them. We rescued our girl 8 years ago-she was caught in between 2 backyard fences at about 6 weeks old . She is our baby!

Thank you all for your well wishes. My camera was taken and I can post from my cell. Will do it after work or tomorrow.

Also: Can't we all just get along? I am hoping my kittens are healthy ones. I am thinking that the mother was already gone so either the lady letting them be covered in fleas or I will be taking care of them.

Right now they are sitting on my lap with me as I type. They do not meow to get up here, they just climb up my leg....

I am going to take them up to the vet on Saturday to get them checked out. Happy day all!
