We have new neighbors who moved into the house across the street from us. Today, I saw the guy pull in and before he went into the house, he stopped to pet a cat. I don't know who's cat it is because I have seen it go back and forth between his house and the house next door (I don't recall seeing the cat prior to them moving in-but it COULD have been there). But, as I watched this guy, I thought, "He can't be a bad guy if he stops to pet a cat."

Yeah, it's a pretty good sign. Just hope the cat has a home, or cons one of them into taking him in.
nobody told me cats were psychic. Fluff has been not eating lately. When I bent over to pet her this morning, I realized how skinny she is. Went up and called the vet-appointemnt at 8:40 because of a cancellation. Took the apmt. Went down stairs and no Fluff. Finally found her but she wouldn't let close enough to pet her. Didn't want to stress her out by chasing her.
came inside and cancelled the aptmt; made one for Wed. Went outside and she walked up to me.
Hope she doesn't realize they just called with another cancellation Monday morning. She will come inside Sun pm. She won't like it but a kitty's gotta do what a kitty's gotta do.
