Thank goodness-well hopefully not that much cash was taken.

At least the lemonade part is that the cats are ok!

I'm always thinking-make lemonade out of your lemons

We're all fine today....

AND THE CHECKBOOK RETURNED!

HAZZAH!

It was found stashed behind some boxes. We've been looking for the cash and the checkbook all yesterdat. My brother moved some boxes around and there it was. But still no cash. Anybody up to a treasure hunt?

Pay for my ticket and I'll be there! I'll sleep in the store at night to keep your cats company.

Yikes, chaseystarz. I'm so glad that no one was hurt and that the cats are okay. No, you are not crazy. We love our pets and we do worry about them.

KatrineA,

You'd have fun playing pinball at the shop all night. Sure, come on down. We got cats you can play with too. Mali the soon to be momma can boss you around all night long. And Tunes can jump on the pinball and chase the ball around with you too.

Thanks Ketabcha for telling me I'm not crazy. I do love my home cats and my shop cats.

I was outside refillng the kitty bowl tonight, when lo and behold - Barley came out to say hi!!

(for those of you that don't remember, he was my big orange fuzzball experiment gone wrong in trapping, and domesticating, a lil over a month ago)

I was so happy, I hadn't seen or heard from him since the day he resumed his much preferred outdoor life. And to add to my shock, he had a Mrs. Barley right behind him. (we must assume it's a female-but we have no real idea)

They waitied patiently for me to fill the food bowl from under the parked car (them, not me, lol) - then trotted over for a moon-lit romantic supper for 2 by the front door.

It's warming up for summer a little bit more every day. I can only hope I see them out and about more often as the year progresses. Hopefully without any lil' barleycorns following them around in a few months, lol!
