Man did those ringtones freak out my herd!!!
I clicked on that link and ya know? It's a SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE costing $9.95 / month.

Just FYI for thread readers here.

Yeah, I clicked on the first cat one listed, just to hear it and did it get my Carly's attention! She'd been in my lap and purring like crazy, but it sent her into a red alert of sorts. Lol.

Is it bad luck to have three black cats outside looking in and one jealous black cat on the inside looking out and hissing?

New adopted cat had a bath today...He expressed his disgust at the whole thing, meowed the whole time, but did not bite, did not scratch, did not try to get away. And now, he is all fluffy and clean. He looks much better, shiny and clean. He is a good boy. You just never know what they are going to do at bathtime.

If you bathe the cat regularly starting as a kitten in my experience he will get used to the routine and not complain at all.

It is horrible to live here if you love cats. There are strays everywhere. I saw a young cat the other day, she seemed pretty tame, and she was pregnant. I hope that maybe she was someone's pet that they let out during the day.

Well, we adopted Jasper about 2 months ago, he was skinny and shy. He is still shy, but now he has a lil' cat belly, not the skin and bones cat he was...he looks better. And is coming up to me more, he still does not like to be held, but he will watch me and purr, he just does not like being picked up.

Sounds like you're making good progress.....it just takes time.

And....just for perspective: I've had Carly (or...more accurately, she's had me..) for 10+ years now and she *still* doesn't like it when I pick her up!
On the other hand, when it's her idea, she's right there in my lap What can I say....she's a cat with Tortitude!
