Since pictures in of themselves speak at least 100 words, I am attaching pics here to show any of you who are thinking of making the raw food, what it takes to make a raw food diet for your cats. Yes, it is work. The benefits far out way the work involved. We are talking night from day difference!
I encourage you to consider this mode of feeding your cats. I realized as I was preparing the food yesterday, that the bought raw, which my cats will NOT now eat, is not as good as mine, because I make mine with LOVE. And, believe me, my cats know the difference!
Oh, yes, the black and white cat, who happens to always be first in line for the chicken, is my Rocky. I ended up cutting up pieces for him and he gorged himself! I saw him 15 minutes after he ate all curled up, fast asleep with a huge cat grin on his face. LOL LOL LOL
The last picture is to give you an idea of just what it takes to feed 16 cats for about 1-2 months, inclusive of the raw diet!

so u still buy canned food even though you feed them raw meat?
I have some cats that will not eat the raw meat, and then I have others who prefer to have a buffet type of meal.....a little chicken, a little raw, a little turkey. All cats don't eat the same, believe me!
Thank you! I designed and actually help build my kitchen. Not only my kitchen, but my entire house. That was in my younger days when I had more oomph! Building a house is one thing I will NEVER do again! MAJOR STRESS! Oops, off topic!

I don't mind you being off topic though. I could talk house AND cats all day, hehe. The main reason I want a house is because I want more cats. Give my hugs to your beautiful furbabies
WOW...I don't know how you do it! I think I'd lose my cookies if I had to grind and deal so closely with raw meat. A labor of love, indeed...and I agree with the compliments of your beautiful kitchen, too, I've always wanted a nice, big kitchen like yours, but somehow I always end up with a "functional alley"...oh well, maybe my next home! LOL!!!
