If you're talking horking up food every single day for like five days then I would start to be concerned. Cats can get intestinal blockages from hairballs that don't work their way out of the cat, and that can require vet action.

You could also try virgin, unrefined coconut oil...it's completely safe, and it's great for their skin/coats as well as a good way to repel fleas/mites! Here's a link...
