Yeah, that sucks. Like I said I've been renting for over 20 years and never *ever* heard of an apartment requiring declawing. Maybe since you're willing to live in a group home (or was it with your parents? I can't remember) for the sake of your cats, you'd be willing to relocate someplace where that isn't the norm?

I have to live in a group home right now. I dont have enough skills/ect to be in an apartment. I currently like the place I'm at now. No one minds the fact my cats are clawed. Rare for a group home- a lucky break for me. I think the places would likely be picked FOR me by the social worker/ect not by me which stands to reason its probably best to wait until the cats die from old age. By then everyone should know if its even possible.
