I just saw This Is It for the first time today, and was completely blown away. He was NOT frail. Conrad Murry caused his death and should be tried for murder.

This is a 50 year old man:

Yes, I have to agree with that. Both Michael and the Doctor should have know better.
For 2 people who are obviously smart, yet they were so dumb....

I do not think Michael was in his right mind, and he probably demanded the IV from the Doctor and paid him nicely....
It is still a shame no matter what.

Actually, AEG (the company that promoted the tour)appointed and was paying that doctor, not MJ. Also, seeing as how they knew he had a drug problem, by keep him high, u can get him to do pretty much what u want him to do, like perform 50 shows instead of the initial 10, when u know he wasnt physically up to it. If he didnt perform 50 shows they wouldve sued him for A LOT of money. But they may have also realized that they can make more money off of him dead than alive....... you do the math

An incredible tragedy, but for this man to allow a doctor to inject him with a drug each night so he could sleep, a drug that could kill him, the fault lies with MJ. He had the means to choose better options. His personal life appeared to become more and more bizarre with age and he even appeared distant from his so-called close friends. Many of the people who spoke at his funeral didn't appear like they had seen him or spent time with him in years. Brooke Shields for instance hasn't spent any time with her "friend" in probably over 25 years. The weight loss, the increasing use of drugs, the odd behavior, that horrid mug shot, and so forth,...this great performer was screaming for help and likely living his own private hell, one that he kept to himself.

Tragic ending and he will be missed, but now that his demise has settled, I'm not surprised it ended this way for him. At least, his music lives on.
