I feel, half the women on this forum, despite what they are saying, would melt away if Mel approached them in a cool, charming way.

99% of the men, who thought Oksana was do-able before, would still shag her rotten behind regardless...and walk away once they hear the click of the recorder. Smart ones would have been long gone before then.

It's interesting that the media frenzy over Mel Gibson ended quite suddenly. Did Oksana run out of tapes? Perhaps her lawyers sensed the backlash against her and advised her to shut up, stop taking money from RadarOnline for the tapes, and lay low for a while. Good advice.

Also interesting to see is the double-standards employed by the media in how they treat perceived anti-semitics: crucifixtion for the Christian Gibson but nothing for Oliver Stone. Hmm.

Indeed.

One of the blogs' comments said it best:
I guess I did not get the memo where the left-wing blogosphere started representing Jewish people in the movie business. The left-wing blogosphere will continue to post stories that get the most hits. Mel Gibson being crazy gets more hits than Oliver Stone’s latest half baked political commentary. This has absolutely nothing to do with how “liberal hollywood” feels about anything, not that “liberal hollywood” has any one feeling about anything.

Something isn't clear at this time or I haven't found/heard anything about why he didn't work out a settlement and cut ties. Maybe he did/thought he did--and then she wanted more --I can't keep up with all of these stories.

Assuming then--he agreed to a particular amount of support, she wanted more and she came up with the plan to tape him--go to the media. That sounds close to blackmail--which is probably something an attorney would allege. So --criminal charges--court--civil litigation---settlement and those who know abhor MG will not see his films. The case is used by the media to heighten public awareness ---precedents are set.
A stupid mistake--2 people who behaved in less than honorable fashion--another child caught in the middle.

While BP works on the oil spill and while too many other issues to name need critical attention.
Plus, I bet she's a Beta model. "They" probably sent her to Mel Gibson to seduce, take his wealth, discredit him.

Rather clever. I'm impressed. Whoever came up with this idea (setting Mel up with a monarched alter) deserves a promotion from the higher ups.
