LiLo wants to appeal the judges sentence, so her attorney has thrown in the towel (quit being her attorney)...because there are no grounds for an appeal. Her new attorney is said to be new - having just passed the CA bar exam.
Also, for whatever it's worth it's been reported that LiLo has referred to the judge as a f**king b*tch - something the judge won't be too happy about. LiLo is a total train wreck. She's in total denial and looks for anybody and everybody to blame for her problems.
I wondered if/when there would be a change in attorneys.
I can just imagine what it is like to communicate with Ms. Lohan.
Fine, if she keeps this up she'll dig her own grave.
A friend of mine works in a mental health facility and has told me a bit about what goes on. So far, no one has suggested that Ms. Lohan is 'bipolar'--that may be coming soon.
If no one can reason with you and you cannot understand clear and emphatic rules then clearly you are a 'danger to yourself and others'.
In the larger scheme of things I would assume this is one factor that contributes to the overcrowding in CA jails/prisons. I guess the court can continue to sentence her to jail and treatment---what an existence. A person would have to be 'insane' to choose to live that way.
Who knows what drugs/any and all can really do in the brain and body.
At this point is there anyone on earth that she would listen to?
Her latest project--'The Linda Lovelace Story' is on hold. She portrays a porn star. She might as well just stop there.
Other than Ms. Lohan it seems there are few celebrities that are so deeply troubled or impaired to be inclined to throw away their careers or lives. That's good.
If the jails are overcrowded why not allow someone else a pass to get out early rather than give a celebrity a pass to not do any time??
That crossed my mind. I can only assume that 'Justice is Blind'--in the eyes of the court she is citizen #12345 and the sentence was 90 days, charged with X, Y, Z. Celebrity isn't a consideration. Of course, she has to be kept out of the general population.
so apparently, LiLo's lawyer bailed on her and Lindsay now has a new lawyer (and by new, I mean new, as in just became a lawyer. fresh fish).
I read somewhere that Paris actually served 3 weeks in jail. I'd expect Lindsay to serve more than a weekend, maybe as long as Paris. doubt the judge will let her off easy.
funny seeing how the "Bimbos of the Apocalypse" (as the media once labeled Lindsay, Paris, Britney, and Nicole) have changed. Paris seems to have quieted down a bit though she's still apparently a club hopper. Nicole is in full blown mommy-mode and seems to have completely abandoned her wild ways. Britney basically needed a court ordered "babysitter" to turn her life around and seems to be doing better (relatively). LiLo has obviously sunk the lowest of all 4 and doesn't have much hope of getting better since she seems as delusional as Brit-Brit but doesn't have the somewhat sane parent figures Britney had (lord, no wonder Lindsay is crazy, her parents are even crazier).
I'll have to find the link, but apparently LiLo is on all sorts of drugs, including Zoloft and a painkiller that is apparently as addictive and potent as heroin/morphine. according to one comment I read, the commenter's daughter has had multiple bone replacement and a disease that's destroying the rest of her bones yet was prescribed this drug only after multiple requests. LiLo gets it b/c of a "toothache" from pulled wisdom teeth. Michael Jackson all over again. way too many rogue doctors in Hollywood (not to excuse Lindsay, of course)

That's what her father has been saying and that she can still receive Rx drugs in jail.
Someone said Hazelden is the center that has had the most success in such cases.
It would seem that 'due process' is taking place, slowly. She can't drive, she can't drink, monitoring device is ordered, she violated probation--jail and treatment ordered. I suppose that's all that can be done. Perhaps those around her can keep her from driving and drinking but yes, Michael Jackson, would be the most comparable. He also seemed to trapped in childhood.
Good! Maybe now this young woman can get her stuff straight and dry out. Life in Hollywood for a child star is a really tough way to grow up if the parents aren't paying attention 110% of the time.
I've heard that due to overcrowded jail conditions she'll probably spend only about 25% of her sentence in jail...or about 3 weeks.
Also, the jail where she'll be staying does not allow smoking, or any stop-smoking (patches, etc.) aids. No makeup, hair extensions, etc. either - just a jail-issued jumpsuit. They say it's the most strictest of any jail she could be assigned.
Felony possesion of cocaine, and transporting a narcotic into a jail and this tramp gets 90 days? She will serve 15 days of it.... if this were you or me we would be sitting in the hokey for 4 years minimum. Unbelievable.
Another thing that has always bothered me - WTF is she on meds for?
She doesnt have any illnesses or diseases, why the hell would a 24 year old need to be on prescription meds?
Heck, Im well past 24 and I havent been on or needed an prescription meds since I had a tooth pulled out at like 18 years old. That is just crazy.
She looks horrible for 24, alcohol & drugs do that to ya.
I guarantee the meds are "mental health" or drug use related.
