How old are you, if you don't mind saying?

I think she is well known because it's fun to say her name. Seriously.

I can appreciate the musicianship of Ray and his vocal talent. Substance.....

no voice enhancers needed.

The hell if I know. I just realized she was so famous like 2 days ago and I've been listening to her music on YouTube trying to figure it out.

I still don't get it. I mean Lady Gaga can be weird and she IS but there's no denying that vocally she has talent. She can actually sing. The lyrics may be crappy sometimes but the fact that she can REALLY carry a tune well makes it understandable that with that and some personality she's famous.

Nikki Minaj isn't very good vocally. She's like Katy Perry. It's all about her ass and in both her and Katy's case their boobs. Ass and boobs will get you famous if you can open your mouth and lets some notes come out regardless if it's scratchy, flat or sharp. Both have a blowup doll image so that's all they needed and pow...famous.

I sense ALOT of " Un-Hippness" <--(if thats a word) in this thread. People... i know that Nicki isn't most peoples taste but, seriously, get with the program! Shes the new new. People can dis-like her all they want, but when it comes down to it, shes actually very talented. Although she isn't completely original (Nobody is) nor the best (Nobody is)..Nicki does show alot of difference compared to other female MCs. I'm 17 and i'm sure most of you guys are over that age, and I think thats why Nicki isn't to anyone on this websites taste. I personally LOVE her songs, I like the interviews, And think shes a very attractive lady, even without the the big ass. Alot of people who are older always complain.."Music isn't music anymore"...or..."I miss the music of the 90's". Uh, wake up and get a glimps of the future, this is what people like now-a-days, and to be quite honest MOST of it isn't that bad. Don't get me wrong, alot of music is HORRIBLE... I mean...Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber...like WTF. But i'm sure there were horrible people back in the 90s and 80s that made parents disapointed in music of those times. Yeah, well im done ranting, but its some things to consider. Like i said, get with the program or stick to the old. Either way Music isn't changing

The same reason we have shows like Teen Mom. The majority of people are determined to embrace and celebrate utter stupidity.
