Haven't seen mention of the 30-40"s blonde bombshell = Veronica Lake
A combination of Stevie Nicks and Kim Basinger, and that hair !!!!!

Alizée. She has a beautiful voice, gorgeous face, bright smile, lovely hair, very curvy and sexy body yet she is so slim and petite. There have been many beautiful and attractive women I have seen, but none can top her beauty.

Wow. What a great natural beauty. Face, hair, smile, body, age, everything.

EDIT: Everything except for voice. That chick cant sing for sh*t. Horrible. But she sure is pleasant to look at.

Thanks for posting.

Many times, I feel so out of place on this website. Feel like I am one of the only young, current, hip folks around. When I hear people mention names from the 30s 40s and even 50s and 60s, I wonder "Wow, you and I have NOTHING in common". If I were to see Veronica Lake next to Kim Kardashian, I would absolutely choose Kim because I find her to be a great deal more sexy/attractive/beautiful than Lake. Same thing with Raquel Welch and Jacklyn Smith, they would fail to get my attention if they were next to the likes of a "Bravehart" Sophie Marceau or Sophia Vergara.

You should factor into your comparison that the women of the 30's. 40's, 50's and 60's did not have the availibility of medical miracles on tap that today's women can avail themselves of. There was some techniques used but nothing like modern medical enhancements currently in vogue.
My point is that those women of yesteryear were a very natural, other than make-up. What you saw was a beautiful woman in all her natural essence with minimal adornment.
Finally, the women of the past did not have the advantages of modern diatary programs which have improved through time. We have better foods and we understand a lot more about diet & exercise. I notice Kim K eats a more green diet and see her working out on a pretty regular basis with excellent equipment -scientifically proven to get better results.
In conclusion a beautiful women are remembered as timeless beauties, when in their prime by the generations to which they belong. So you are not out of place on this thread, you are just relating to the women of your day. Some day you will look back and always think Kim K. was the most beautiful woman of all time while some young "whipper-snapper" will tell you, you are not in touch with modern times.
