George Carlin and Louis C. K. - Both are funny and smart.
Maynard James Keenan, Dan Auerbach, Ray LaMontagne, David Ford & Jack Johnson - My favorite musicians.
The cast of Monty Python - see first reason.
Brad Pitt and Edward Norton - My favorite actors.
Megan Fox - for obvious reasons.
Yep, I wouldn't mine being at this table. Monty Python with Megan Fox. A good guy combo

Leonardo DiCaprio (for the same reason as Michael Ealy)
Stephen King (although I know he is not strictly speaking a celebrity)
Dean Koontz (another perhaps non-celeb, but nevertheless)
Patti LaBelle (she seems like she'd be a lot of fun, but loud!)
Cher
Some Interesting picks

President Bill Clinton - For his intelligence
Al Pacino - One of my favorite actors
Ralphie May - Young comedian who makes me laugh
Sharon Osbourne - Because she is sassy and tells it like it is
Bette Midler - Same answer as Sharon's.
Too many people to chose but today I shall go for :
Gabriel Byrne ( Gorgeous and educated , can't go wrong there)
Rachel Weizs ( see above)
Richard Dawkins
Michael Wood
Simon Schama
Jodie Foster
Francis Cabrel ( my favourite musician)
I'm not entranced by celebrities as people, but let's see if I can drum up anyone of interest.
Arnold Schwarzenegger (although I really wouldn't want the others present when I talk to him about California's problems. . . and it would be a good discussion). Sharon Osbourne because I think she's genuinely nice. (She'd HAVE to leave Ozzy home, though!) Sophie Loren to discuss her awesome life (and maybe get some beauty tips). Elizabeth Taylor simply because I idolized her magnificent beauty when I was a kid, and found her turbulent personal life intriguing. Johnny Carson to keep the table howling with laughter. Imagine his comedic antics with all these people. It would be like a reunion with some of them. Charlene Neville, who is not the celebrity that her father and uncles are, but I'm a big fan and would love to talk to her about her life in New Orleans and growing up in such a gifted family. B.B. King, to entertain us all between discussions. I think he'd fit into this group just fine.
I don't know yet. I'll have to google around to which celebrities are most likely to get drunk and donate money after listening to whatever sob story I came up with.
LOL, this is harder than I thought! My list would be too long if I didn't confine it to people who are alive. My short list:
President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama
Seijii Ozawa - classical musician; conductor. Fascinating, brilliant, exuberant about his work.
Mikhail Baryshnikov - do I have to explain it????
Eric Heiden - a great Olympic athlete who is extremely composed, confident & polite.
Sharon Osbourne - great pick. She's a pistol but I agree that she'd have to leave Ozzy at home.
Olympia Dukakis - extraordinary talent; film and stage actress
Michelle Kwan - Olympic skater
Mustn't forget Matt Damon either ~
