Does anyone know if Scientology stays out of politics? With most celebrities being so politically vocal, you never hear Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Kirstie Alley etc. giving any political opinions. Since none of these people are exactly shy, just curious if their particular religion asks them to but out of politics.

The "Church" stays out of politics, but its members are free who hold whatever political views they want. Scientology does not influence its members in any way shape or form to hold to any political views or ideals.

As long as they keep those church coffers full, they could care less who they vote for.

I think the only time Scientology got involved in politics was when they were fighting for their tax-free religious status.
