Living or dead?
I think if dead there's a long list.
Alive? - Billy Graham

Most likely impossible to say, since our culture of dishing dirt on anyone who's in the spotlight makes certain that few here will be universally admired. Billy Graham is pretty good choice, but every time he sticks his nose into politics I want to flatten it for him.
Hard to not like Andy Williams, the singer, or the late Jackie O.

Several series finales and Super Bowl's beat 30 mill(this year's SB had 111 million viewers) and they were limited to only one channel. MJ was very talented and will always be remembered for great music and choreography but he was also very controversial. Is he really the most beloved? Also, he is deceased and if you ask living or dead, I'd say George Washington is the most beloved person by Americans.

I think most people would choose Abraham Lincoln over George Washington.
