You're right Pippy. He did indeed seem to be a very nice person. He seemed much quieter than Rick. He made a good living from a lifelong career in the motion picture industry. He'll be missed.

Sad - that really marks the end of an era. Ozzie and Harriett show was just a bit before my time - but I think it was still on when I was a smaller kid. I remember the new show where they took in a couple of boarders.

Also it's sort of frightening...time is going by fast for us boomers.

Time flies when you're having fun. Yes, David's passing does mark the end of an era, at least for the TV Nelson family.

I know I was shocked when i heard his age. I had such a crush on him.

One of the best comedy shows from the 50's and 60's, The Adventures Of Ozzie And Harriet. I am really saddened by his death. I wish there could be a cure for this hideous disease.

OH, I agree with you so wholeheartedly. The baby boomers are now becoming senior citizens or close to it. Gosh, I feel so old.
