Maybe its getting a divorce (re looking heavy), I think I heard that she and hubby are quits.

And seriously, Jennifer Hudson's new WW commercial - she really belts a bluesy tune, gives me goosebumps. Great voice.
Ch Ag - is not in my top 5. I don't think anyone here gets to make that determination for everyone.

I know...if people can't sing the anthem, maybe that's the way to go. There's got to be some artist out there who has the composure and talent to be able to do a good job. ~

Christina has a great voice. But I was disappointed with her performance. I thought her rendition was bad, and I was actually looking forward to her singing. Kind of thought it would be up there with Whitney Houston. I knew she messed up when it happened, turned to the guy next to me afterward and said 'she blew it didn't she' he agreed.

She did a terrible job, I was like WTF...did she just miss a verse....
also, OK we know you can hit all different ranges, but just sing the freaking song already...this isn't American idol....

actually, I think it is a crappy song anyway, I just hate it. American or not, I just hate the song.

She's got my vote. She remembered all the words. Even my friend, who is extremely reserved and shy, is able to remember the words and still sing the anthem in public (she sings it at the city's hockey games)! It can be done!

Christina rocks. She's the best female singer in the business and everyone knows it, that's why they love everytime she stumbles. People have been unplugging her microphones out of jealousy from backstage since she was a very little girl. (Not just other kids, either. Adults would do that.)

So she flubbed a line and oversang out of nervousness to compensate. Many of the very people dissing on her probably screwed up their till at Best Buy last night....
(There was also this fat chick on YouTube talking about how she's looking "a little fat in the face." I love irony....)

It's all uphill from here. She'll be mentoring a 20-something ten years from now saying, "Honey, I ****ed up in front of 111 million people at the Superbowl and I'm still here...."

Rehearsal. Notice the filmers talking about small she looks. Yeah, even with a little extra weight on her, she's still skinnier than most people, probably.

And a few vids of her singing, for those of you who think all she knows how to do is "wail."

Reminds me a bit of Sade on this one:

One of my favorites. She recorded it while she had a cold.
