I completely agree with you ( not something which happens that often). Sheen is a completely irresponsible moron who has made choices in his life . He was not born that way , he chose to be that way. His lifestyle was further "enhanced" and condoned by the environment he was brought up in with sycophants and easy money.
I had Leukaemia for over ten years and to compare a serious illness to some young bloke deciding to turn wild because it is fun and exciting to him is beyond offensive. It shows a complete lack of sensitivity and appreciation as to what cancer or other conditions of that seriousness are like.
Sheen can keep it in his pants if he wants to. He can stick to water and juice if he wants to . And unless someone put a gun to his head he certainly made his own decisions when it came to taking drugs.
I was offered drugs and booze throughout my teenage years and not once did I think " yeah that's a great idea, I think I'll just try that". In fact even when I had cancer and drugs might have provided an "easy way out" of the pain and despair ( as it is the reason always stated for drug taking) I still made a decision not to.
We all have a moral compass , we all have the brains to make the right decisions. Especially when someone like Charlie Sheen had everything to be thankful for, his family obviously love him and have always been supportive of him , he has money, reasonable "looks", sounds intellectually not impaired ( not medically if morally ).
If he had been brought up in a ghetto, seeing people mowed down by gang violence, his mother turning tricks and his father a drug dealing crack addict with no access to a good education, abused by his family, no access to good healthcare, and little to look forward to in life he might have some extenuating circumstances but please let us not feel sorry for that utter creep and waste of space as Charlie Sheen the son of Hollywood star and grown up with all the advantages life could throw at him.
The fact that TV executives seem to have no problem with his lifestyle choices ( which one could argue are reflected in "Three and a half Morons"), tell you everything you need to know about the way our society functions.
We elevate morally corrupt and bankrupt cretins to celebrity status and then almost seem to find it acceptable and "fun".
Millions of men around the world seem to want to emulate him and millions of women more than happy to sleep with the jerk or wish they could. We live in a sick world with all the moral backbone of pond slime.
The TV network should have never hired him in the first place. All it does is send the wrong messages to everyone, that basically we condone and approve of this kind of behaviour. And find it hilarious.
