Mike Patton FNM is down to earth. He doesn't seem like a celeb or even know he is one.
Sebastian Bach is a tool but he was like 21 at the time and just riding the wave of new celebrity. Steve Tyler, OTOH was very cool. (waited on them both one night, touring together)
I did know about Xander/Sarah (Sarah was also there, super nice, and super hot).
Kiefer was very cool, but mostly incoherent
Xander was the unofficial "babysitter" for Kiefer
Sarah was there, and very nice to talk to
Carlos Bernard (Tony Almeida) was there, but I didn't get to talk to him very much
Elisha Cuthbert was NOT there (oh, I asked). She was only 20 at the time, and this was a casino bar. Apparently she was miffed about that, in Canada, the drinking/gambling age is 19.
I was introduced by my girlfriend at the time, who worked at the casino/hotel....and apparently, Kiefer and Xander knew her by name. They just called her over, like they were best friends (apparently they've been in Las Vegas more than once and they always stay at the hotel where she works.
That's cool to hear about Sarah. There's something about those bad girls that I can't resist! She played an almost-as-evil-as-Nina double agent on Covert Affairs opposite Piper Perabo a few years ago, too. She almost plays those roles TOO well....
I hated that George Mason (Xander) died in Season/Day 2. CTU Directors never made it very long, though.
To be honest, I have never been a fan of Elisha Cuthbert. I think it's because I found Kim Bauer very annoying.
My favorite female character was obviously Chloe (Mary Lynn Rajskub) who looks so much hotter in real life that frumpy, borderline-anti-social Chloe! I also thought Nadia in Season 6 was amazing!
S Epatha Merkeson from Law and Order
Met her in an IHOP in her neighborhood in Maryland. She came over to our table and chatted with my brothers and sisters after I approached her table and mentioned I was a fan. Her poor husband, he just wanted his pancakes, I'm sure.
Aloof:
Idris Elba (busy, on his way to a meeting about the film he was working on at the time in Puerto Rico) and
Zoe Saldana (also working on the same film). She looked at me as if I was from Mars when I mentioned her work in the film "Constellations". LOL. She couldn't remember the name of her own film! Really!

I'm glad to hear that one. I loved Lt. Van Buren (her character) and she is currently doing a commercial (Bayer, I think) and she just seems like a very nice lady.
Angie Harmon, Kathy Bates and Trisha Yearwood are still the nicest celebs I've ever met, but I have a few others to mention.
Two who were very nice but obviously exhausted after a long concert under scorching stage lights-
Martina McBride
Kelly Clarkson
Actresses-
Laura Leighton (she's is tiny, maybe weighs 90lbs)
Holly Robinson Peete (who I ran into at a kids baseball game, so I tried not to make it weird)
I also ran into Alyssa Milano in the Whole Foods on Ventura in Woodland Hills several years ago. I refrained from making a big deal out of it, but just smiled as I passed and said "Hi, how are you?" (meanwhile, my inside voice is SCREECHING it's Melissa freakin' Milano!) She returned the courtesy with a knowing look that I recognized her and was a fan.
Biggest disappointment-
Reba McEntire- she wasn't rude or unkind, but her security guards were hyper-vigilant about keeping people a certain distance from her (about two feet). It was odd like you had to sort of lean forward to speak in a normal face-to-face manner. I suppose years of fans hugging her or invading her personal space had taken a toll, and I can respect that.
Angie Harmon is gorgeous, isn't she? I always liked her. She has an amazing husky voice, unlike some of today's celebutantes who whine in high-pitched little girl voices and add "like" after every five words of their sentences.
Kathy Bates? Now I'm jealous! I adore her. Misery, with James Caan.
Alyssa Milano I remember from "Knots Landing", and she was on "Charmed" wasn't she? Very beautiful woman.

I met Angie Harmon at her daughter's (horse) riding lesson. My cousin, who is more like my sister and best friend despite being 15 years older than me, was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer a few days after Christmas 2009. Over the next few years, I flew from Atlanta to Los Angeles more more than 20 times and spent a total of about 30-32 weeks out there between early 2010 and mid-2013 when she had her final reconstructive surgery. She has three adopted children (who were from a 'drug' mom) and they're awesome but have their own unique challenges. I went out to take care of them as well as her during her battle with IBC. When she was diagnosed in 12/2009, the twins (boy & girl) were 8 and her older son was 11.
Her daughter started taking riding lessons when she was 10. On one of my stays out there, she wanted me to take Allie (her daughter) to riding lessons instead of taking the boys to baseball practice. She hated going to baseball practice but on this particular day she made up some reason she needed to go. We were running late for the lesson and I dropped Allie off then parked the car. I walked over to the fence to watch the kids ride and take some photos of Allie as well.
As I'm standing there, I notice a mom standing about 20-30ft away and she walked over to me after a few minutes. She stuck her hand out and said, "Hi I'm Angie. I saw you in Joy's (my cousin) car and that you brought Allie, so you must be her cousin from back home that I keep hearing about". As she is saying this, I am smiling politely (I think) but I really blacked out for a bit because all my brain could do was shout "This is Angie-freakin-Harmon talking to me!!!" She didn't have on any make-up, her hair was pulled back in a pony tail with a baseball cap on and wearing an old t-shirt and shorts with the requisite sunglasses. She had on a pair of silver loop earrings but that was it and she looked AMAZING! She is truly a natural beauty and her personality only reinforces her obvious physical beauty. I'm 6'2" and she was only a few inches shorter.
I had the pleasure of seeing her several more times and she acted like the good ol' Texas girl that she is!
I actually got to spend Thanksgiving 2013 with Kathy Bates at my cousin Joy's house! Joy's husband is a well-known producer/director/whatever in the TV industry, and his father and grandfather were also in the biz, so their family name is at least known and respected. Joy underwent a 'Modified Radical Double Mastectomy' in late 2010 after two rounds of chemo and radiation. Kathy had a double mastectomy in 2012. They met at a cancer fund-raiser and they've maintained a great friendship since then. But Kathy didn't have plans for Thanksgiving in 2013, so Joy informed her that she would be coming to their house for dinner. She accepted and two days before Thanksgiving, I got a frantic phone call from Joy and she said "Here's my AMEX number, I don't give a f@*k what it costs, you need to be here by tomorrow night at the latest!" I managed to get a flight the next morning but it cost $1100 just for the flight out there! She really wanted me to meet Kathy and have a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but she also had an ulterior motive. I'm the only one in the family who can make "dressing" (or "stuffing" to most non-Southerners) that tastes just like her mom's and my grandma's. (Sidebar- Joy is technically my dad's first cousin, making her my first cousin, once removed, but she likes me better than any of her first cousins. But her mom and my grandma were sisters.) So she wanted me to help her cook an authentic Southern Thanksgiving dinner and that's what I did! Kathy was/is amazing- witty, super intelligent and a great conversationalist....especially after we had a few drinks later in the evening. It was truly one of the defining moments of my life!
Hanging out with my cousin Joy definitely has some benefits!

Oh, don't get me wrong...I HATED Kim Bauer. Like, it made parts of the first season unwatchable. But, well...Elisha's super hot. Sue me
I've never watched Covert Affairs, but if it's as you advertise, I'd have to check it out!

Piper Perabo (Coyote Ugly) is the main character, Annie Walker, a CIA agent/covert operative. It's awesome. In Season 3, Sarah Clarke became Annie's boss/handler and she is almost as evil as Nina was on 24....almost. It's a shame that USA cancelled the show after five seasons! I highly recommend it!
Back to 24, you nailed it- most story lines involving Kim Bauer were borderline un-watchable. Plus the show got much more interesting with the addition of Chloe and I love Nadia on Season/Day 6. But I have noticed that Elisha Cuthbert only got hotter in her late 20s and early 30s than she was in her early 20s (on 24). She was 19-20 when 24 started. She's 32 now, if I'm not mistaken.
I used to do sound for a local venue, so I met quite a few b and c list music artists (bands like U2, the Stones played bigger venues and usually had their own sound guys LOL)
I met a few and most were cool as hell...Lou Reed was a giant bag of douche, Courtney love was all over the place, sweet and friendly one second to a complete diva beeyotch...she was bat$hit crazy (totally believe she had kurt offed by the way)met a bunch of alternative rockers and they were all down to earth normal, youd never know they were successful touring artists
