She didn't get a lot of attention/recognition from the general public at the airport.
It may be possible that she was just having a bad day or was just severely pressed for time.

Nicest:
Dave Chappelle - Met him at the laughfactory in LA after his set, my friend was his driver. Super cool person, very laid back and loves his cigarettes.

Mos Def (Rapper)- Sat down with us for a coffee after we asked him for an autograph. Very humble, said "Salaam" (A Muslim greeting/farewell) when he left.

Lupe Fiasco - Signed my CD and offered my friends and I cupcakes from the box he was holding.

Nastiest:

Joe Rogan - Condesending moron.

Here's my list:

NICEST
1. Mike Huckabee: Met him once in Lexington, KY. Class act to me and all that were waiting in line to meet him.

2. Former U.S. Representative and Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher. While he was a great Rep. and not-as-great Governor, he was a nice guy on the multiple occasions I met him.

I've met numerous local celebrities (i.e.: state politicians, media reporters) here in Kentucky; the vast majority have been friendly or at least polite.

INDIFFERENT
1. Chad Ochocinco of Cincinnati Bengals fame. Not impolite or rude, but not warm and friendly. In fact, he was actually fairly quiet when I met him. (I worked in a retail store and rang up his purchase once.)

2. Cameron Mills when he was playing basketball at the University of Kentucky during the 1995-96 season. I was in elementary school at the time. He wasn't rude or hateful at all, but I took my Bible to a local convenience store where was signing autographs and Bibles (it's Kentucky, we have the church culture thing going on) and meeting fans. Let's just say that he was there with very feigned enthusiasm.

RUDEST
1. Cheryl Burke of Dancing With the Stars fame was with Chad during that same transaction (this is when they were performing together on the show.) And man, let me tell you, she was a stuck up, condescending, surly a**hole. 30 seconds was MORE than enough time than I ever wanted to see of her.

I've met a lot of celebrities in my lifetime, through my career as an athlete, my father's work, my sister's job, my step-brother's incessant desire to become the real-life Turtle from Entourage, so I can think of a number who were really cool and a few I have negative opinions on.

When it comes to the Major League Baseball players and professional boxers I've been around my whole life, I find most of them to be good people, but then again none of them are the ultra-superstar types, they are usually the more blue-collar type of professional athletes.

Really cool ones:
Delanie Walker (49ers player)
Jesse McCartney (didn't know he was a celebrity when I met him, just thought he was a nice kid and fun to hang out with)
Bill Clinton (I'm not a Democrat and I voted for Dole in the mock election that year...I wasn't old enough to vote yet...but this guy can really work a room)
Steve Bono (former 49ers player)
Doug Wilson (Sharks GM and one of the last guys to play in the NHL without a helmet...he actually recognized me at a game once and came over and said hi and sat with me for a few minutes to chat, made me feel like a superstar because all the fans in the section were taking pictures of him while he knelt beside my seat)
Kristi Yamaguchi (my sisters were figure skaters)
Debbie Thomas (ditto)
Dr. York (owner of the 49ers)
Stan Musial (amazing man and baseball player)
Warren Spahn (hilarious, he was like 80 and was hitting on every under-30 woman there)
Muhammad Ali (I didn't pay for his autograph, yet he let me sit next to him while he signed for other people and talked boxing with me)
Joe Montana (how can anyone not like Joe Montana?)
Dom Deluise (met him at a filming for a show, he was like Santa Claus)
Kevin Mitchell (1989 NL MVP, I played a men's league baseball game against him a few years ago...he hit a check-swing opposite field homer about 450 feet, so I got the ball and then after the game asked him to sign it. He did it with a gap-toothed smile and was far nicer than I expected.)
Dennis Brown (former 49er, he's as nice as a guy can be, gives me a big hug anytime he sees me at a game or elsewhere)
Jeffrey Leonard (played with his kids when I was young, he'd join in and act like a kid too, he was clearly a good father)

The ones who were nice, but nothing special:
Patrick Willis (for such a freakishly muscular dude, he was shy and introverted)
Johnny Knoxville (he was quiet and polite, which did increase my opinion of him, as I am someone who HATES Jackass)
Rickey Henderson (one of the greatest baseball players ever and he was nice to my cat whenever he jogged by my house, but he never really said hi to me when he stopped to pet the cat)
Vernon Davis (he was cool to me and all, but he just seemed like a jerk and was all about the groupies too)
Glenallen Hill (met him at a Soul Food restaurant, didn't make an impression on me)

The creepy one:
Link Gaetz (he hit on my sister who was in HS and not even 18 yet and he was an alcoholic goon...look him up)

Now that I think about it, I don't really have any "I dislike that person now" moments with a celebrity. They've all generally been nice to me and sometimes have gone above and beyond to be extra nice to me. I've met so many others but these are the ones who stick out in my mind the most.

[quote=Marce30;23943174]I live in Los Angeles (hollywood) and i see celebrities all the time, well, not all the time but often LOL !
I see Kim Kardashian the gym i go to (Equinox on Sunset Blvd.) but ive never asked for an autograph or try to talk to her. I have to say that whwn you live in LA seeing famous people its pretty normal, you see them and walk away, we dont get all crazy over them.
Ashley Tishdale goes to Equinox too, the days i go in the morning she is there and again, never met her.
One of the others that go to Equinox is Perez Hilton, even tho he isnt famous, he just runs a trashy blog. Kanye West girlfriend's used to go there, i havent seen her in year. I forgor her name.
David Navarro (Carmen's Electra boyfriend or ex, i dont know) and JC from "N'sync" go to Equinox as well. The majority of celebrities go betweem 10:00 am and 12:00 when the gym is literally dead, they dont want to be bother.
Funny story, one day i was walking my dog and i saw JC (N'sync) at a the gas station down the street from my home, i took my phone out of my pocket and i took a pic of him. He was so polite that he waited for me to grab my phone and turn the camera on. I have the pic to prove it lol !

Another story, maybe a month or two months ago i was driving back home (i was 2 blocks away from my street) and i stopped at a red light and next to me was Collin Farrell. I smiled at him and he smiled back. I met him at a premiere in Hollywood before, he was sweet.

Ive met (meaning talk to them, asked for autograph or picture) to Julia Roberts, incredible rude, not nice at all. Nothing like you see her in the movies, she is the opposite.

I have heard horrible stories first hand about Julia Roberts. I know of 5 people who have had to deal with her as a pax on a commercial flight and in hotels. ALL have said she was the biggest dissapointment of any celebrity they ever met. 2 said she belittled them in a low joking manner to make them feel small. Yet she is America's sweetheart

I wouldn't give Julia Roberts a second glance.

Donald Trump - a bit snobby ... he gave autographs, but was a bit annoyed by being asked.

Rachael Ray - she's neurotic when the cameras are off- yells at her staff, and does not like any mistakes, or slip-ups. VERY serious. She's a bit phoney IMHO.

Kelly & Regis - George Clooney was a guest that day I was there, all 3 were fantastic !!! Kelly comes and sits with the audience during commercial breaks, she's so sweet, and genuine. I love her even more now that I met her ... George was super funny, and I love his liberal side. I've always been a fan.

Katie Couric- not so friendly at all - she doesn't like fans approaching her and has no issue telling them. "NOT NOW" !

Dwight Yokam, SO NICE! Tall, and handsome ... he seemed almost shy ...

Quincy Jones and his son. His son is HOT- blue, blue eyes- beautiful !

Michael Douglas at a Broadway show, The Mountain Top. He sat 5 seats away from me - very quiet, and nonchalant ... he was escorted in, and tried to blend in- didn't talk to anyone. He looks exactly like he does on TV- a bit smaller in frame, and height.

And, I sat near Robin Williams and his lady friend in Boston at a restaurant- he didn't want to be bothered- it was an outside cafe, by the water.
Interesting about Katie Couric and Rachael Ray. Both have extremely friendly personnas. Must be all image? Katie Couric's smile seems really childish, smile from when she was 12, almost syrupy. Seems like she's not in touch with herself IMO...
Kelly Ripa--neutral, don't watch her show, but when I occassionally see her, she does strike me as real.

NICEST TWO Marshall Dillon [James Arness] and john Wayne//////BOTH class acts
Marshall Dillon--I mean he's the marshall, glad he was nice in person!! We love the Matt Dillion old original re-runs. I heard he was very private, quiet, no one knew much about his personal life, even Amanda Blake.

I have met Rush Limbaugh. He is a very nice man. I love his on-air persona, sometimes more than others....LOL. I find it gets his point across, many, many times. I often think people that do not have a well developed sense of humor, a fine sense of theatre and a sense of the ridiculous, have a hard time being able to tolerate Rush Limbaugh. Nevertheless, he was very gracious when I met him.
