If I assumed wrong, please accept my apologies.

no........
Steve Cannell brought to television some pretty good shows. At the end of his shows it always showed only his hands typing on a regular type writer then grab the paper from it and toss it into the air. He's dead now.
Stephen J. Cannell - IMDb

excerpt:The filmed logo for his production company showed him at a typewriter, typing something onto a piece of paper, then throwing the paper in the air. In the background, we see a shelf containing his awards

I remember seeing those hands typing! I remember him too......just never realized who he was. Thanks for the link.

He did write some good shows.....I loved "The Rockford Files".

Thanks Pippy

Jimmy Stewart - one of the nicest, kindest gentlemen to ever grace the planet

Robert Hays (Airplane!) - Very, very funny and friendly. When I showed up for our first appointment, he was sitting in a mud puddle fixing his pool pump. Then he spent the entire lesson swatting flies on his back porch.

Sugar Ray Leonard - Soooo cool! Very gentlemanly and gracious. He saw me eyeing his (massive) biceps and winked as he said, "Go ahead, sweetheart." When I hesitated, he said again, "Go ahead" so with both hands I squeezed one of them. D@mn! Rock solid! I asked him if people ever tried to goad him into sparring and he turned sideways and said, "Whenever you're ready." So I punched him in the arm. He flinched and said, Owww!" What a great guy!
I always admired Sugar Ray from the time he fought in the '76 Olympics through his pro career. So when he came to speak at my school, I was very happy. I didn't get to really talk with him, but I did shake his hand. He was there with his (incredibly beautiful) girlfriend. I did notice the way he walked, and I have been walking that way ever since. LOL

I was going to ask if anyone had met Bruce. You have confirmed my belief that he is a nice guy.

I can't understand what Hollywood's fascination is with William Shatner. He starred on Star Trek, put out novelty records in the 60s and 70s, then the Priceline commericals (outside of the various TV shows he's on.) He seems so broing and robotic.

I believe Leon Spinks is living in Columbus, Nebraska now. I have never met him but from everything I have heard about him he is just a regular guy.

You missed that he starred in TJ Hooker (80's cop show) and Denny Crane on Boston Legal. He also did theater. My mother met him once when he was starring in a play that she saw. She said he had beautiful blue eyes.

However, I also was acquainted with someone from my town who back in the 90's did some work on some daytime TV show that Shatner was on for a while. She said he would show up reeking of liquor on the set at 7 a.m. I sort of got the impression from her that the character Denny Crane--a self-centered lecherous old drunk--was pretty close to who he is in real life.
